MJ

MJ is a full-time fitness professional that has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years leading group fitness classes and providing personal training and management services throughout various facilities within the NCR. Along with her strong group fitness skills , MJ pulls from her experience in the martial arts, team sports, and dance to make her classes both functional and fun. She is also the mom of two active teenage boys, which motivate her to stay fit so she can keep up with them both on the soccer field and on the slopes.

MJ thrives on learning new and innovative ways to keep the whole workout experience interesting and enjoyable. She strongly believes if you train like an athlete you’ll feel like an athlete. She is a certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer with CAN-FIT PRO and she also holds certifications in Sports Strength, Sports Movement and Integrated Balance Training (BOSU) with Twist Conditioning. Over the years, MJ has studied various dance styles including 5 years of Oriental Belly Dance and she is a ZUMBA certified instructor.

Melanie

Melanie

Melanie has been in the fitness industry for over 8 yrs teaching many types of classes. Her previous dance, kickboxing and firefighting experiences have been very helpful in making her classes challenging, fun and varied. Also a certified personal trainer, yoga instructor and cycling instructor, melanie loves to train and teach in both indoor and outdoor environments. With a 6 month old son to love and care for, Melanie is thrilled to be able to add mom and baby classes to her resume. Living healthy, spending time with her family and continuing to do what she loves, teaching, are Melanie's passions.

Jules

Jules is a proud mother of 3 children, and is currently one of her own post partum class participants! Her passion stems from her own weight loss struggles and health issues. Having been obese most of her life Jules lost 160 lbs after the birth of her second child. She was then inspired to specialze in post partum fitness. Her many years of research have helped her develop a safe systematic approach to post partum rehabilitation. Her life experiences help her teach with a positive and enthusiastic attitude creating an atmosphere that is fun and exciting! Her goal is to help women not only regain their prenatal fitness levels but surpass them. She hopes to motivate all new parents to lead their families to better health and wellnes. Jules is a certified Kick Box instructor and CAN-FIT PRO certified Personal Trainer.

Michelle
Owner & Co-founder

Michelle is an avid fitness enthusiast and a busy mom of three energetic kids under the age of 8. She is currently expecting her 4th baby!

Although Michelle has always loved a challenge, she found that her biggest challenge was to find a way to get her workouts in with three kids in tow. She also found that being at home with a newborn was a bit isolating and was looking to meet other moms who enjoyed being active. Michelle started to look around for classes to participate in but found that there weren't many classes being offered where you could bring your baby. After meeting a friend and new mom who felt the same way, they decided to start their own classes that were baby friendly and MomMeFit was born.

Michelle is a CANFIT certified Personal Trainer, MADDOG certified spinning instructor, YOGA ALLIANCE certified yoga teacher, Pre-Post Natal fitness Instructor (PFI), a CANFIT certified Nutrition and Wellness Specialist, and a certified Prenatal Yoga Instructor. Also a former bootcamp director and marathon coach, Michelle has been involved in the fitness industry for over 17 years.
